Hello, I’m Thomas Risell aka MarloweDK , a bass player and music educator from Denmark.

THEBASSLOOPS.COM website is an old dream come true for me, being inspired by so many musical styles, it has been so much fun to put this site together. I hope you will enjoy these 100% royalty free loops in your own music production!

Apart from recording loops, I’m probably mostly known from my Youtube channel focusing on bass lessons in many musical styles.

I have been featured in several international bass magazines; Bass Quarterly, Bass Professor, TopBass (TopGuitar), Bajos & Bajistas to name a few.

In 2013 I released a DVD and a iPhone/iPad app “Beginning Slap Bass with MarloweDK”

And in 2020 I released yet another iPhone app “Bass gym”.

I have also released a backing track / practice iPhone app Back Pocket Grooves

I regularly play and record with local and international acts while teaching  private students

I have performed Clinic/workshop tours in Denmark, Germany, Poland, Brazil, Argentina and Chile
